Conference Registration
Pricing Information
Registration costs for the 2012 Industry Studies Conference are as follows:
- $260.00 ($335.00 after April 30, 2012) for faculty, researchers and other professionals who are members of the Industry Studies Association
- $130.00 ($165.00 after April 30, 2011) for PhD students who are members of the Industry Studies Association
- An additional fee of $50 for nonmembers ($25 for students), which covers membership to the Industry Studies Association for 2012

Standard Benefits
Registration fees include:
- A welcome reception on the evening of Tuesday, May 29
- An Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, May 30
- Lunch on Thursday, May 31
- Continental breakfast each day
- Coffee breaks
Personal hotel and transportation costs are not included. However, the Industry Studies Association has arranged special hotel rates for the duration of the conference.
Additional Benefits
Early career scholars who register for the 2012 Industry Studies Conference are welcome to attend the Early Career Development Committee's Professional Development Workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for scholars seeking career-related advice from a network of junior and senior colleagues. The 2012 Industry Studies Conference also offers an opportunity for participants to tour an important historical industrial site, the Carrie Furnace. This tour has been organized for the morning of Friday, June 1 as an optional add-on to conference registration. For more information about this tour, click here.
Refund Policy
In the event that an individual wishes to cancel his or her registration, the following guidelines for refunds will apply:
- 6+ weeks prior to conference: 85% refund
- 2-6 weeks prior to conference: 50% refund
- Less than 2 weeks prior to conference: no refund
Conference Host

This is the second consecutive year that Pittsburgh has hosted the Industry Studies Association conference. In previous years, the conference was held in Chicago.
