Conference Registration

Registration for the 2011 Industry Studies Conference cost $240.00 ($300.00 after May 10, 2011) for faculty, researchers and other professionals. Ph.D. students paid a reduced rate of $120.00 ($170.00 after May 10, 2011).

Registration fees included a welcome reception on the evening of Tuesday, May 31, Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, June 1, lunch on Thursday, June 2, continental breakfast each day, coffee breaks, and conference costs for both days   The price also included Industry Studies Association membership dues for Fiscal Year 2012 (July 1, 2011 – June 30, 2012). Personal hotel and transportation costs were not included. The Industry Studies Association acknowledges the generous co-sponsorship of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, which defrayed a portion of these costs for all members/attendees.

Early career scholars who registered for the 2011 Industry Studies Conference were welcome to attend the Early Career Development Committee's Professional Development Workshop. This was an excellent opportunity for scholars seeking career-related advice from a network of junior and senior colleagues. The 2011 Industry Studies Conference also offered an opportunity for participants to tour a steel-making facility in the Pittsburgh region.
