2011 Industry Studies Conference
The 2011 Industry Studies Conference was held from May 31 to June 3, 2011, at the William Pitt Union at the University of Pittsburgh. The conference program included competitively selected organized panels and individual papers. The program also featured a pre-conference professional development workshop (PDW) for early career scholars, a plenary session, and an awards luncheon.
The conference drew scholars from a wide range of disciplines who presented findings from research at the cutting edge of the academic literature in their areas of specialization. Much of the research presented at the conferences focused on issues of immediate interest to industry and public policy.
