Usage

You may:

• Use the Database for your internal research, planning or other purposes.
• Publish studies based on analysis of the information in the Database, with attribution of the use of the Database.

You may not:

• Redistribute, post, sell, sublicense or otherwise enable or permit other individuals to access or use the Database except under the terms listed herein.
• Copy the Database other than for use as a backup copy.
• Rent, lease, grant a security interest in, or otherwise transfer rights to the Database.
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels on the Database.

Title

The title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in the Database shall remain in the University of Pittsburgh. The Database is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and by international treaties.

Disclaimer of warranty

The Database is provided as is without warranty of any kind. The University of Pittsburgh makes no representations and extends no warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. The entire risk arising out of the use of the Database remains with licensee. In no event shall the University of Pittsburgh be liable for any consequential, incidental, direct, indirect, special, punitive, or other damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information or other pecuniary loss) arising out of this agreement or the use of or inability to use the Database.

The entire risk as to the use of the Database is assumed by the licensee. The licensee shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the University of Pittsburgh, its trustees, officers, employees and agents, for and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including but not limited to attorneys' fees), relating to or arising from any use or disposition by licensee of the Database.
